I was going to write a post recently about how stupid the government is about government issued paperwork – especially paperwork they require. Of special interest is my expired passport and the contortions one must go through to replace a government issued passport with a government issued passport.  … the heck is this damned global warming that the communists… ehrr … what’s the proper term in the 21st Century for useful idiots that want to destroy western civilization … oh yeah … environmentalists keep promising us? The temperature display on the Wing read 27 degrees (F) this morning as I came into work.

Hmmm … just went and checked to see what the wind chill factor for that would be …. and it’s much less than I thought — just -11. I guess that’s why I was only numb when I got to work, rather than frozen. Heh.
