I was going to write a post recently about how stupid the government is about government issued paperwork – especially paperwork they require. Of special interest is my expired passport and the contortions one must go through to replace a government issued passport with a government issued passport. It’s always been quite plain that the major reason for all this crap is keeping government employees from becoming welfare recipients.
